Happy New Year Giveaway!


It's time to welcome in the new year... with a giveaway!   It's been a great year book wise: we've had the first in the new Bloodline series, Alyxandra Harvey's new Haunting Violet.  We've had a second book from one of my favourite authors: Jenny Downham.  We've seen the last installment of Harry Potter, and welcomed the new Pottermore website.  Yes, it's been a great year for books...  But I think 2012 will be even better!  To celebrate these old and the new books, I'm having a giveaway that has something from both.  Therefore I'm giving away:

1x Haunting Violet cloth bag
1x Haunting Violet lipbalm
1x 2012 Bloomsbury Book (Fracture)

This is an international giveaway, so no one will be left out!  It ends January 14th.

Oh, and before you all enter, two more things. 
One: What has your Top 2011 Book been?  And which book are you most looking forward to in 2012?  (This doesn't affect who wins: I really want to know 'cause I'm always on the lookout for more books to read!)
Two: I'd like to thank everyone who has followed, visited, commented or guest-posted on The Book Addicted Girl in 2011!  All of you have really made this year special for me!  And I'm hoping that in 2012, we will have more guest-posts, more giveaways and more books!

    Such a hard question. I've been asked this a lot and I say the same thing. I got it down to 5 for a blog post and can't do better than that. So I just keep blindly picking one of the 5. It's CARRIER OF THE MARK's turn to get picked. =) Loved this book.

    As for something coming in 2012, PURE from Jennifer L Armentrout.

    My favorite 2011 read was Daughter of Smoke and Bone from Laini Taylor.
    And the most anticipated book for me in 2012 is Pure from Jennifer L. Armentrout!

    I had two books that I loved this year and that would be Hush Hush By Becca Fitzpactrick and OverProtected so amazing. And the book Im looking forward to most this year is Cinder.

    My favorite 2011 read was Circle of Fire by Michelle Zink. I'm looking forward to City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare.

    I loved Swear by Nina Malkin...it was book two in the series...I am sooooooooooo looking forward to Balthazar by Claudia Gray and Jessica rules the dark side by Beth Fantasky.

    But really there are so so many.

    So many awesome books came out in 2011 and so many more coming 2012 but I loved Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout and I can not wait for Onyx by Jennifer L Armentrout books 1 & 2 of the Lux Series

    Hey, I'm a new follower. I actually just finished Haunting Violet last night and loved it. I really enjoy Alyxandra Harvey's characters. My fav books from 2011 would have to be Blood red Road by Moira Young and Blood Magic by Tessa Gratton, this year I'm really looking forward to The Immortal Rules by julie Kagawa because the iron fey were fantastic! and Born Wicked by jessica Spotswood, it has the most beautiful cover.     I'd say my favorite 2011 release was Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins for young adult and Blackout by Rob Thurman for adult urban fantasy. For 2012 I'm looking forward to Lover Reborn by J.R. Ward, Doubletake by Rob Thurman, and Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley. Thanks for the giveaway!

    Thanks for the giveaway! My favourite 2011 book must have been Vampire Academy, or Pretty Little Liars to name just two! I am really looking forward to Pandemonium in 2012 by Lauren Oliver, or the second book in the Divergent trilogy. I don't think it has a name yet!

    I can't pick just one from 2011, Beauty Queens, A Monster Calls, Dear Bully.

    And there's tons for 2012, but I recently read an ARC of See You at Harry's by Jo Knowles and I CANNOT WAIT for it to be released so everyone else can know the awesomeness that is this novel. Coming in May!

    One of my favs from 2011 was Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. And one of my most anticipated reads of 2012 is the sequel to that the Golden Lily.

    One of my favs from 2011 was Blank Slate Kate by Heather Wardell and in 2012 I'm looking forward to reading Blame it on the fame, a debut by Tracie Banister. Like I said, I love chick lit:) Thank you so much for this awesome giveaway:) Hugs xx

    I don't really know the answer to this actually! I've read so many amazing books in 2012 but one of my alltime favourite would be Anna & the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins.
    2012 release I'm looking forward to is A LOT. But maybe a debut I'm looking forward to would be Of Poseidon. Thank you for the giveaway!

    The books I loved in 2011 are Divergent by Veronica Roth, Lola & The Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins and The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater.

    The books I'm looking forward to for 2012, on the other hand, are Insurgent by Veronica Roth & Until I Die by Amy Plum!
