On My Wishlist (#9)

On My Wishlist is an awesome weekly meme hosted by Book Chick City that runs every Saturday.  It's a place where you can put up all the books you're desperate to read, but haven't actually bought them yet.  They can be old, new or forthcoming.    And, even better, everyone can join in with too, because there's a Mr Linky so you can put your post up.  All you have to do is click on the link below:

I'm sorry this is late - again - but it was hectic, then I felt sick, and it was all a little crazy.  I'll try not to let anything be late again! ;)
Anyway, here's my Wishlist this week.
The Mediator: Volume 1 - Shadowland & Ninth Key (Mediator, #1-2)Shadowland & Ninth Key
Series: The Mediator, Volumer One: Books 1 & 2
By: Meg Cabot
Published: 28th December 2010
Published By: Harper Teen
Found: On Amazon
Synopsis From Goodreads:
Ghosts ruin everything, especially your love life.
Suze is a mediator—a liaison between the living and the dead. In other words, she sees dead people. And they won't leave her alone until she helps them resolve their unfinished business on earth. But after a cross-country move to sunny California, Suze is looking forward to a fresh start and a life free of spectral interventions.
Too bad Suze can't escape the undead that easily. She might not mind Jesse, the sexy ghost who haunts her bedroom, but there are plenty of other poltergeists out there with less friendly intentions. Some of them are out for revenge . . . of the murderous kind. And Suze might be the only one who can stop them.
I love Meg Cabot, but I've never actually read this one: I'd like to give it a try!  :)

The Abused Werewolf Rescue GroupThe Abused Werewolf Rescue Group
By: Catherine Jinks
Published: 3rd Febuary 2011
Published By: Quercus Publishing
Found: On Megan (Read It, See It)'s Blog

Synopsis From Goodreads:
I still hadn't fully absorbed the terrible possibility that I might actually be a werewolf. A werewolf. I kept stumbling over that word; it made no sense to me. How could I be a werewolf? Werewolves didn't exist.
When Tobias Richard Vandevelde wakes up in hospital with no memory of the night before, his horrified mother tells him that he was found by the police. At Featherdale Park.
In a dingo pen.
As if that isn't weird enough, suddenly a very menacing looking guy and a priest show up at his door.
As the mystery unfolds, Toby finds himself keeping company with some very strange and sickly looking people - members of a suburban vampire support group. And when he's abducted in broad daylight, he will need all their help to break free ... and to come to terms with his own incredibly rare condition.
I read The Reformed Vampire Support Group by Catherine Jinks (See On Goodreads) a year ago and loved it, and I loved the characters.  So, when I saw that Jinks had bought out a sequel-of-sorts, I grinned!  Plus, this does look very good.  :)

Cess is determined to find him but is soon embroiled in a plot that threatens her world and forces her to draw on powers she never knew she possessed, powers that will place her life in danger if they are discovered by the villagers. Witchcraft, politics and religious ambition combine in this gripping and wonderfully realised novel set in the Somerset of the 1500s.
I love the look of this one!  "A Place Shrouded In Murder And Mystery": gotta love it!

Synopsis From Goodreads:

But then a bizarre (and incredibly hot) new exchange student named Lucius Vladescu shows up, claiming that Jessica is a Romanian vampire princess by birth—and he’s her long-lost fiancé. Armed with newfound confidence and a copy of Growing Up Undead: A Teen Vampire’s Guide to Dating, Health, and Emotions, Jessica makes a dramatic transition from average American teenager to glam European vampire princess. But when a devious cheerleader sets her sights on Lucius, Jess finds herself fighting to win back her wayward prince, stop a global vampire war — and save Lucius’s soul from eternal destruction.
Love the sound of this, even if it has very split reviews.  Just sounds awesomly brilliant!  Also, very cute cover! ;)
