Waiting On Wednesday (#7)

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, and it's a weekly meme all about the books that are coming out soon that we really can't wait to read.

So, lots out soon, can't wait!  A few may be paperbacks or reprints, but all of 'em look amazing!
Unnatural (Archangel Academy, #1)Unnatural
Series: Archangel Academy, Book One
By: Michael Griffo
Published: April
Found: On Amazon
Synopsis From Goodreads:
In the town of Eden in northwestern England stands the exclusive boarding school known as Archangel Academy. Ancient and imposing, it’s a place filled with secrets. Just like its students…
For Michael Howard, being plucked from his Nebraska hometown and sent thousands of miles away is as close as he’s ever come to a miracle. In Weeping Water, he felt trapped, alone. At Archangel Academy, Michael belongs. And in Ciaran, Penry, and especially Ciaran’s enigmatic half-brother Ronan, Michael finds friendship deeper than he’s ever known.
But Michael’s only beginning to understand what makes the Academy so special. Ronan is a vampire—part of a hybrid clan who are outcasts even among other vampires. Within the Academy’s confines exists a ruthless world of deadly rivalries and shifting alliances, of clandestine love and forbidden temptations. And soon Michael will confront the destiny that brought him here—and a danger more powerful than he can imagine…
Love the look of this book, and the whole: "Lesson 1: Nothing Is Ever What It Seems..."  Plus the whole idea of an Archangel Academy is awesome!

The Gathering (Darkness Rising, #1)The Gathering
Series: Darkness Rising
By: Kelley Armstrong
Published: 7th April 2011
Found: On Kelley Armstrong's Darkest Powers Website
Synopsis From Goodreads:
Maya lives in a small medical-research town on Vancouver Island. How small? You can’t find it on the map. It has less than two-hundred people, and her school has only sixty-eight students—for every grade from kindergarten to twelve.
Now, strange things are happening in this claustrophobic town, and Maya's determined to get to the bottom of them. First, the captain of the swim team drowns mysteriously in the middle of a calm lake. A year later, mountain lions start appearing around Maya's home, and they won’t go away. Her best friend, Daniel, starts getting negative vibes from certain people and things. It doesn't help that the new bad boy in town, Rafe, has a dangerous secret—and he's interested in one special part of Maya's anatomy: Her paw-print birthmark.
Loved the Darkest Power series, and this one looks equally amazing!  Can't wait, and really rather like the cover!

Synopsis From Amazon:
If you could see into the future - would you look? Jenni Green doesn't have a choice. On her way to visit her best friend, Autumn, Jenni suddenly finds she's been transported exactly one year forward in time. Now she discovers that in the year that's gone by, tragedy has struck and her friendship with Autumn will never be the same again. But what caused the tragedy? How did Jenni skip a year? And can she find her way back to the past to try to change what lies ahead? With humour - and her customary light touch - the author of the EMILY WINDSNAP books plays a fascinating game with time, and explores the changes that take place in friendships and families in the aftermath of a disaster.
"If You Could See Into The Future - Would You Look?"  I'd like to see what's coming... but what if it was terrible?  This book sounds absolutely amazing, and I really want to read it!  Plus, the cover's soo sweet!

A chilling, beautiful debut novel inspired by a haunting folk song about murder, witchcraft and revenge. A haunting voice in an empty room ...A strange, scarred man lurking in the graveyard ...A mysterious warning, scrawled on the walls of the abandoned church ...Along with Roger and Peter, two young village boys, Cora must uncover the horrifying truth that has held Bryers Guerdon in its dark grip for centuries - before it is too late for Mimi. Intensely atmospheric and truly compelling, this is a stunning debut.
Wow.  Looks amazing.  Totally amazing!

I haven't seen that particular cover for The Gathering before. It's so gorrrgeous. And everytime someone even mentions COFA my inner fangirl throws a dance party. April 5th cannot get here soon enough!
